Spring in the Heartland

The Independence Public Library is partnering with Heartland Acres Agribition Center,  IPTV’s Dan Wardell, and many other county organizations for a children’s program, Saturday, April 1st 10:00 am- noon at Heartland Acres.

Spring in the Heartland will offer a fun opportunity for all ages. For children, IPL will have a spring craft available to make and will give away books. Story time with Dan will be from 10:30-11:00 am.  Have fun milking cows, grinding corn, feeding live chicks, “driving” a tractor, and more.

Heartland Acres will have free admission for the day. For more information about the library’s role in this activity, call 319-334-2470.
